👎 NOT

A recent survey of European women reveals widespread frustration with how society views menopause. Only 1% feel that menopause is "respected," while over half believe it is "not taken seriously.” The survey also found that women weren't impressed with menopause education, with just 2% describing it as "adequate." It’s another example of the pressing need for change—both at home and across the pond. At Midi, we’re proud to help drive that change.

Meno News

Around one in three women experience heavy bleeding during the menopause transition, and a new study reveals that this can bring about an additional struggle: fatigue. Researchers found that women who experienced three or more episodes of heavy bleeding or prolonged bleeding (lasting more than eight days) in the past six months were more likely to feel fatigued and worn out.

Iron deficiency may play a role, but further research is needed to fully understand the connection. The good news: If you're experiencing these symptoms, help is available. Midi's clinicians specialize in managing erratic perimenopause periods and can guide you toward effective solutions, including hormonal birth control, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and supplements.

Midi Diaries

Jennifer C., 51

“I couldn’t believe how quickly I started to feel better!”

For years, I struggled with debilitating symptoms: joint pain that made everyday tasks challenging, constant exhaustion, frustrating brain fog that affected my work and personal life, and persistent muscle aches.

I tried as many lifestyle changes as I could—supplements, more water, better eating, extra sleep. Some helped, but not enough. The final straw was when my doctor told me to "face it, you're just getting old.” I wasn't even 50 yet! Like many women, I was left feeling hopeless, as though the vibrant, energetic version of myself was gone forever and I just had to accept this new, painful reality as "normal aging." Blech!

Thankfully, I found Midi recently, and from the moment my visit began, I experienced something I hadn’t in years with healthcare providers: I felt truly heard. Instead of telling me what I couldn't do, my clinician offered sympathy, solutions, and a comprehensive plan tailored to my needs and symptoms.

I'm still in shock at how quickly things have improved. After just two days, my outlook completely transformed and my treatment is already easing some of my symptoms. For the first time in years, I feel hopeful.

Inspired by Jennifer’s story and ready to discover how expert support can transform your midlife journey? You’re just a few quick steps away from booking your first visit with a Midi clinician.
