Living a longer, healthier life starts with taking proactive steps, like screening for breast cancer, osteoporosis, and more. And now, Galleri, a cutting-edge cancer screening, is available through Midi. The blood test can detect multiple types of cancer before symptoms show up, including those that aren’t typically screened for by doctors. While we look forward to the day when these tests are covered by insurance, we’re glad they’re currently an option for women who want to better understand their health risks and are able to pay out of pocket (Midi patients can get the test for $849 when ordered through their Midi clinician).
Book a Midi visit to discuss whether the Galleri test is right for you. Your clinician can also help order other important, insurance-covered cancer screenings, such as mammograms, colon cancer tests, and lung CT scans (for those with a history of smoking). It's just one of the many ways Midi helps you unlock healthier years ahead.

“No traffic, no rushing to get to the doctor’s office!”
- Deidra S., 48 |

I discovered Midi Health after numerous visits to doctors, desperately trying to find someone who would truly listen to me and understand my symptoms (the worst of which was insomnia).
With Midi, my clinician took the time to understand exactly what I was going through. She asked all the right questions and, together, we arrived at a diagnosis and treatment plan.
What stood out most about my experience was the convenience of it being a video visit. I didn’t have to drive anywhere or sit in a waiting room, I could take care of my co-payment online, and best of all, I didn’t feel rushed.
My Midi Care Plan is already helping with my symptoms. Now that I have the right treatment, I've been able to get restful, peaceful sleep—and stay asleep throughout the night.

The expert: Kathleen Jordan, MD, Midi’s Chief Medical Officer
Q: “How do I know if I’m dealing with menopause—or a thyroid disorder?”
A: At Midi, we often hear this question. Sometimes, a thyroid disorder is at the root of a patient’s symptoms—but more often, it’s menopause (and sometimes it’s both).
The challenge is that the symptoms of menopause and thyroid disease can overlap. Fatigue, memory issues, and weight gain are common in both menopause and hypothyroidism. And the hallmark hot flashes of menopause can also occur in individuals with hyperthyroidism.
So, how does Midi determine if a thyroid disorder or menopause is causing your symptoms?
-
First, we listen. Your clinician will take the time to understand your symptoms and health history in detail.
-
Next, we screen (when necessary). A simple blood test can reveal if your thyroid hormone levels are normal, high, or low.
-
Then, we treat. If a thyroid disorder is identified, your clinician will guide you to the right medications. If both thyroid and menopause factors are at play, we’ll personalize your Care Plan to address both, helping you feel your best.
