If you’re 40 or older and haven’t had a mammogram yet, here’s your reminder to schedule it. A recent study found that breast cancers detected through routine screening methods are linked to better outcomes compared to those found after symptoms appear.
It’s one of the reasons why Midi created AgeWell Visits: Your clinician will review your health history and help you stay current on important screenings (like mammograms) and proactive options (like full-body cancer scans).
Book your AgeWell Visit today to find out which tests can help you live a longer, healthier life. |

“This chapter can be our prime!”
- Candice C., 50 |

In my 40s, I struggled with perimenopause symptoms: heavy bleeding, painful cramping, depression, hot flashes (20 or more a day!), frozen shoulder, and joint pain. A holistic provider recommended compounded progesterone, but even as a nurse practitioner, I was hesitant to start hormones. When I asked questions, I was dismissed, and left feeling confused and unsupported.
When I found Midi, everything changed. My clinician was compassionate, patient, and addressed my concerns about hormone therapy. After our discussion, I decided to start HRT. My symptoms improved almost immediately—especially the joint pain—and I finally felt like myself again. I’m so grateful for the care I received. I’ve learned so much and have brought those insights into my own practice.
To anyone struggling: Please don’t give up. I used to think menopause was just something we had to suffer through. But these midlife years should be our prime, and we deserve to feel even more beautiful and vibrant than we did in our 20s!

The expert: Kathleen Jordan, MD, Midi’s Chief Medical Officer
Q: “What’s the best product to address midlife skin changes, like fine lines and dryness?”
A: When we launched Midi, I was given the challenge of finding the most evidence-based solution for midlife skin concerns—and let me tell you, that wasn’t easy. There are so many products out there, but, outside of sunscreen, the science consistently points to two key ingredients: tretinoin and topical estrogen.
Both have been shown to boost collagen production by 30 to 50% and help firm and strengthen skin. Tretinoin is excellent for reducing fine lines, acne, and age spots, but it can be drying. That’s why it’s good to pair it with topical estrogen, which hydrates while still promoting firmness.
Here’s the routine I recommend:
