The Emotional Cost of Early Menopause |
|
A diagnosis of premature menopause (when menopause starts before age 40) can be overwhelming—and the emotional toll is real. A new study found that nearly 30% of these women experience depression.
Being diagnosed at a younger age, grief over fertility loss, severe symptoms, and lack of support all raise the risk of depression.
At Midi, we care for the whole you. Whether you’re navigating premature menopause or struggling with symptoms at any age, our clinicians create personalized Care Plans that support your body and your emotional well-being. |

“My life improved almost instantly”
- Raquel R., 50 |
|
Around 50, I started having migraines, terrible body aches, joint pain, hot flashes, and trouble sleeping.
My doctor said these symptoms were likely due to a nerve condition I’d been diagnosed with earlier, but I got the feeling something else was going on. Everything pointed to menopause, and when I found Midi, it was a game-changer.
I quickly got an appointment and my clinician prescribed HRT in the form of the estradiol patch along with a cortisol manager supplement (to help with sleep). My life quickly improved and it was clear that my nerve condition had nothing to do with my symptoms.
Now, I want other women my age to know help is available. Don’t give up—fight for yourself!

We’re extra-proud of this one: Midi founder and CEO Joanna Strober will be honored by the California Women’s Law Center at their Pursuit of Justice Awards Gala in September. Joanna is being recognized for challenging the system and pushing women’s health forward—something that deeply aligns with CWLC’s fight for gender equity justice.
